Masters: Curriculum and Instruction/Reading focus-Mankato State.
a. Began in this field by working with developmentally adults.
b. Taught Special Education in Iowa and Minnesota. Have been with Grand Meadow School district since 1999.
a. My husband, Jan, is a case manager in Freeborn County, working with developmentally delayed adults.
b. Mike, my oldest,is married to Claudia. Claudia is from Bogota, Colombia. Mike is an interpreter, and also in the Air Force Reserves.
c. Steve is married to Miranda. They have a son, Stanley, and a daughter, Emmy. Steve works at a contracting business in Rochester that contracts with the city of Rochester , while Miranda works at Mayo.
d. The baby of our family is Abby. She is finishing up at U of M Rochester and will be finished in December, 2016. She would like to pursue Physical Therapy.This past summer, she had a wonderful opportunity to do an internship in Valencia, Spain.
This past summer, I had 2 wonderful opportunities to travel. The first travel was with my daughter-in-law to her home country in Colombia. It was a beautiful country and her and her friends showed me a great and memorable time!
My second travel was to Valencia, Spain, to see my daughter during her last week of her internship. That was also a beautiful country!! Not sure I'll be able to do that again, so I will always treasure those experiences.
