Gabe, my husband, and I have two adventurous little boys. We welcomed Oliver in March of 2012, and Ezra came along in February of 2015. We lived in rural Iowa for five years before moving to a suburb of Dallas, Texas for two years, and we are really excited to be in Minnesota!
I love backpacking, hiking, camping with the family, reading, talking about literature, watching movies, Doctor Who, and baseball (Go Tigers!).
I teach the following high school English courses: English I (9th grade English), Applied Language Arts and Communication, American Literature, British Literature, Creative Writing, and the following college courses: English 151: Academic Writing, Literature 120: Introduction to Literature, and Communications 110: Essentials of Speaking and Listening. In addition to teaching high school English, I am also the senior co-advisor with Ms. Guentzel and the speech team coach.
