Jump Rope for Heart

Greetings Grand Meadow Elementary Families!

We kicked off our Jump Rope for Heart & Hoops for Heart program this afternoon our school's event is right around the corner! We are thrilled to participate as we work together to raise money for the American Heart Association and learn how nutrition and being active can help us live longer, healthier lives.  Yes, that’s right!  It’s time to have some fun, learn about heart health and save lives.

First things first!  We have an easy way for you to raise money online by having your very own fundraising page.  Simply follow these steps:

1. Go to www.heart.org/jump and search for Grand Meadow Elementary School

You may already be hearing your student talk about earning a free glow in the dark Scare Squad wristband! Every student can earn this wristband and if you download the mobile app, you can bring it to life and have one of our awesome scare squad monsters teach you about heart health!  Your teacher has these wristbands ready for you as soon as you register. (Yes, you earn this wristband by simply registering online)

1. When you do raise a $10 online donation, you will earn; Jax and Charger. Your teacher has these monsters as well.

2. Download the app to watch your monsters come to life and fundraise on the go. Search jump/hoops in the android or apple store.  (You can even send texts from the app!)

Thank you so much for supporting our school and the American Heart Association. We know you can do this!

Thank you,

Ms. Baudoin, Mr. Bain and Mr. Burmester
