Lynn Baldus: First Grade Teacher-Room C105/ 507-754-5310 x 7750

Hello and welcome to my first grade website.

My name is Lynn Baldus and I am looking forward to teaching Grand Meadow first graders this school year!

I am originally from Mankato, MN and received my B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College in Elementary Education with kindergarten certification. I continued my education at Concordia University in St. Paul to achieve my Early Childhood Education certification in 2000. This certification gave me the opportunity to teach in Grand Meadow as the Early Childhood teacher for the Preschool and ECFE programs until I moved to the kindergarten classroom in 2006. This will be my 12th year teaching first grade. I think First Graders are FANTASTIC!

I live in rural Grand Meadow on a farm with my husband Lee. We have 5 children; Nick (Savannah), Mitchel (Nashia), John, Julia and Jay. .I also have 5 grandchildren in the area: Maverick, Presley, Elliot, Noah and Beth. Three things you should know about me are: My favorite subject to teach is reading, I have a miniature schnauzer named Groot, and I like Milk Duds!

I am ready to start the new school year and to help my students grow and excel!

I am excited for a wonderful year!
