Welcome to 5th Grade! My name is Faith Gehling, and I will be teaching 5th Grade Reading and Social Studies! In addition, I also am the Varsity Cheerleading coach and one of the National Honor Society co-advisors.
I am a proud Grand Meadow grad! After graduating from high school in 2018, I attended RCTC for one year to earn my associates degree, and then transferred to Winona State University-Rochester. I graduated with my bachelors degree in elementary education in May 2021. After graduation, I started my teaching career as a long-term substitute teacher both at Winona Middle School (5th Grade) and Byron Primary School (1st Grade) and spent a year at Zumbrota-Mazeppa Public Schools as both a long-term substitute and rotating teacher. Last year, I had the wonderful opportunity to come home to Grand Meadow and taught 6th Grade!
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. In addition to being the youngest of five, I'm also an aunt to six nephews and 2 nieces. You can also find me spending a lot of time with my adorable dog, Lacey, who turned a year old in March! Lacey often can be found by my side while I read (I'm an avid reader!) or watch my favorite sports team (Skol!).
We are going to have an amazing year!
