My name is Paul Besel. My dual role as the Superintendent and elementary principal allows me to have a more hands on experience as an educational leader. This is the tenth year I have been an administrator for the Grand Meadow School district.
The Grand Meadow School district provides quality educational opportunities for all students. Grand Meadow School is also a member of the SMEC Cooperative. This unique relationship with the surrounding schools allows us to share many services which benefit all of the school's in addition to the Grand Meadow school system.
My wife, Rhonda is a Cosmetology instructor at Riverland Community College in Austin Minnesota. We have two adult children who are both teachers. Tucker is Physics teacher at Chaska High School in Chaska, Minnesota and Mckenzie is a middle school teacher in St. Peter, Minnesota.
