Community Education is a means by which lifelong learning may be carried out.  These are opportunities for local citizens and community schools, agencies and institutions to become active partners in addressing education and community concerns.

By participating in self-enrichment programs and continuing education, we as a community are supporting and improving the quality life of our community.

Community Education is a unique education concept that embraces these beliefs:
  • Education is a lifelong process
  • Everyone in the community-individuals, businesses, public and private agencies-shares responsibility for the mission of education all members of the community
  • Citizens have a right and a responsibility to be involved in determining community needs, identifying community resources, and linking those needs and resources to improve their community
Community Education includes a wide variety of topics to satisfy all age groups; there is something for all interests!
