Community Education classes/programs are organized seasonally: Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring.
HOW DO I GET A BOOKLET?
You can access the booklet at anytime on our school website under the community ed tab.
WHY IS THERE A PRE-REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES, CAN I JUST SHOW UP AND PAY AT THE TIME OF THE CLASS/PROGRAM?
By submitting the pre-registration, you as a participant are reserving yourself a space in the class. This also gives the class instructor advance notice on amount of supplies to provide if needed and ability to anticipate the size of the class.
WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM OF 5 PEOPLE THAT MUST SIGN UP FOR A CLASS, WHAT HAPPENS IF 5 PEOPLE DON'T SIGN UP?
Requiring a minimum of 5 people helps substantiate that the class is creditable to be held. If the instructor agrees to lead a class with less than 5 registered participants, that is to their discretion.
For those who do sign up in advance, and then a class is canceled due to lack of minimum required registration, I will contact those who did sign up via phone number and/or email (be sure to include this information on the registration form!).
I WOULD LIKE TO TEACH A CLASS, WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
Everyone has a talent or skill! Chances are someone is interested in learning it as well!
Email me, Cathy Paul at , and I can help you figure out the details for the specific type of class or program you would like to try. I will need to know the topic, the minimum number of participants required for your time, if you will be volunteering or would like to be compensated, and time duration estimate.
Everyone who would like to lead a class must pass a background check from Grand Meadow school.
If you have further questions or concerns, please contact me via email:
Thank you,
Cathy Paul
